"Star Wars: Rogue One - Cassian & K-2SO Special #1" is a new one-shot coming from Marvel that will dig into the origin of the rebels Cassian Andor and K-2S0. Set in the relatively unexplored gulf between the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy, this "Rogue One" prequel will show "how it all began" for the two, according to Lucasfilm.

As a reminder, this comic book - like all other Marvel Star Wars since 2015 - are in canon with the movies.

"Star Wars: Rogue One - Cassian & K-2SO Special #1" will be written by Duane Swierczynski and drawn by Fernando Blanco, and is scheduled to be released in August alongside the previously-announced Star Wars: Jedi of the Republic - Mace Windu miniseries.
